What is HOSA- Future Health Professionals?

HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA’s two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and enhance quality healthcare delivery to all people. HOSA is 100% health care!

HOSA has grown steadily since its inception in 1976, reaching over 250,000 members through 55 chartered HOSA Associations, American Samoa, Canada, China, the District of Columbia, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Massachusetts HOSA History

The Massachusetts HOSA state office was first managed by the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the Massachusetts Area Health Education Center (Mass-AHEC) starting in 2009. Massachusetts HOSA is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status.
